Living Well Staff
The Living Well Team is made up of compassionate and caring people that are experts in their fields. The staff is specially trained to support you through your cancer journey and to provide excellent programs and services.
Angela joined Living Well Cancer Resources in July 2019. She is responsible for the successful leadership and management of the organization. In alignment with Northwestern Medicine, Angela establishes and implements the strategic direction for the organization. She has served in cancer care for the past 26 years, most recently as director of the Northwestern Medicine Chicago Proton Center. Angela started her career in medicine as a radiographer at Central DuPage Hospital.
Candy joined Living Well Cancer Resources in August 2024. She is the operations administrator for both locations. In alignment with Northwestern Medicine, Candy establishes and implements the organization’s strategic direction while overseeing daily operations. Candy has been a practicing massage therapist for 29 years. She has been with Northwestern Medicine for ten years, recently serving as the systemwide surgery and procedural scheduling manager. Candy started her Northwestern career as a massage therapist at the Osher Integrative Medicine Center.
Missy is a licensed clinical professional counselor who provides individual and family counseling at Northwestern Medicine Living Well Cancer Resources in Warrenville. Missy facilitates patient-based support groups in addition to running the Survivorship Program at Living Well. As lead counselor, Missy provides oversight and coordination for Living Well’s counseling and support programs. Missy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology at DePaul University and her master’s degree in Human Services and Counseling at DePaul University.
Lindsey is a licensed clinical social worker and licensed independent social worker-clinical practice professional who facilitates some patient-based support groups for Living Well.
Shannon is a licensed social worker who works with individuals and families impacted by cancer in Infusion, Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology settings at Northwestern Medicine Cancer Center at Delnor Hospital.
Katie is a licensed clinical social worker who works with individuals and families impacted by cancer in Infusion, Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology settings at the Northwestern Medicine Cancer Center in Warrenville.
Erica is a licensed clinical social worker who works with individuals and families impacted by cancer in Infusion, Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology settings at Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital Cancer Center in DeKalb, Illinois, and Northwestern Medicine Valley West Hospital Cancer Center in Sandwich, Illinois.
Nancy is a national certified and licensed professional counselor who provides individual and family counseling at the Living Well Cancer Resources . Nancy is bilingual in Spanish and English and facilitates some of Living Well’s patient-based support groups and stress management classes.
Cassie is a licensed clinical social worker who provides individual, children, teen and family counseling at Northwestern Medicine Living Well Cancer Resources in Geneva. Cassie also facilitates some patient-based support groups and stress management classes.
Joy is a licensed clinical social worker who works with individuals and families impacted by cancer in Infusion, Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology settings at the Northwestern Medicine Delnor Cancer Center.
Molly is a licensed clinical social worker who works with individuals and families impacted by cancer in Infusion, Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology settings at the Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Cancer Center in DeKalb.

Denelle is a licensed social worker who works with individuals and families impacted by cancer in Infusion, Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology settings at Northwestern Medicine St. George Cancer Center.
Sana is a licensed social worker who works with individuals and families impacted by cancer in Infusion, Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology settings at the Warrenville Northwestern Medicine Cancer Center.
Maureen is a licensed social worker who works with individuals and families impacted by cancer in Infusion, Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology settings at Northwestern Medicine Warrenville Cancer Center.

Shelby is a licensed professional counselor and who facilitates some patient-based support groups for Living Well.
Cheri helps participants discover their inner artist using a variety of materials and teaches many fundamental art techniques. Art programs are available to adults and children at Living Well in Geneva and Warrenville as well as a variety of local cancer treatment centers.
Erin holds a BS in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois. She is a certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine and has practiced in the medical fitness industry for more than 15 years.

Heather provides oversight and coordination of Northwestern Medicine Living Well Cancer Resource Geneva volunteers, touch-therapy programs and wig boutique. Heather is also responsible for participant data collection and tracking, & general office activities.
Shefali provides oversight and coordination of Northwestern Medicine Living Well Cancer Resource Warrenville volunteers, touch-therapy programs and wig boutique. Shefali is also responsible for participant data collection and tracking, & general office activities.
Judy assists the Admin Operations Coordinators in Warrenville with touch therapy programs, the wig boutique, data collection and tracking, and general office activities.
Erin joined Living Well Cancer Resources in December 2024. She assists in the planning, development, implementation and promotional efforts of evidence based psychosocial support programs that directly support the strategic plan, mission, and vision of Living Well Cancer Resources. She has been with Northwestern Medicine for three years, recently serving as a philanthropy coordinator with Northwestern Memorial Foundation.
