Make A Donation

Join LivingWell Cancer Resource Center in its mission to provide compassionate care that empowers, encourages, supports and provides hope to cancer patients and their families. Your donation will improve the quality of life of individuals diagnosed with cancer, their families, and caregivers. A gift of any amount will enable us to continue to provide our services throughout the community. Making a single donation is one of the easiest ways to show your support.

Serving seven counties in the western suburbs, LivingWell relies solely on donations from the community to provide 100-plus programs and services free of charge. Your gift allows us to continue to provide access to quality care and support for cancer patients and their families throughout their cancer journey.

Your contribution will give you the satisfaction of knowing you made a difference in the lives of people facing cancer.  LivingWell is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, all gifts are fully tax-deductible as provided by law. (Download printable donation form.)

Join our monthly giving program and have your donation spread out over time. You can set up your pledge online and have your gift of $20, $50, $75 or $100 automatically donated to LivingWell Cancer Resource Center each month.
If you would like to set up a monthly gift, please call 630.262.1111.

A gift takes on special meaning when made in memory of or in honor of someone you care about, or when it commemorates a holiday, anniversary, or other occasions. When a gift is made to either of these campaigns, a letter to the person or family indicated notifying them of your thoughtful donation will be promptly mailed. You may fill out an electronic donation at the bottom of the page or mail a gift using the LivingWell Printable Donation Form.

LivingWell Cancer Resource Center gratefully accepts your gifts of stocks, bonds, and other publicly traded securities. Please talk to your financial advisor, tax accountant or attorney before giving securities. To make a gift of securities or for more information, please call 630.315.6808.

Including LivingWell Cancer Resource Center in your estate plan or other planned gift will not only assist you in reaching and achieving your own philanthropic and charitable giving goals, but it will also allow LivingWell to leverage its long-term sustainability.

There are many charitable planned giving options available to you. For example, you can make a planned gift to LivingWell by naming LivingWell Cancer Resource Center as a beneficiary in your will, in a life insurance policy or retirement plan. You can make a qualified charitable distribution directly from your IRA, establish a charitable gift annuity, or name LivingWell as a beneficiary of a charitable trust. Some options may have a greater tax benefit to you than others, so please consult with your attorney or financial advisor on which strategy is best for you.

The Hansen Legacy Society recognizes the generosity, foresight, and thoughtfulness of individuals who commit to the future of LivingWell Cancer Resource Center (LivingWell) by including it in their estate plans or by making a planned gift commitment.

The name honors Joanne B. Hansen, philanthropist and Kane County resident who is one of the four founders of LivingWell. As a cancer survivor, Joanne had a vision to provide cancer support that was not available during her cancer journey. She provided a leadership gift and helped secure additional funding to open LivingWell in 2005. Joanne has served on countless community boards and continues to serve on the LivingWell Cancer Resource Center Board.

To learn more about these and other planned gift opportunities, please call 630.315.6808.

If your employer engages in a workplace giving campaign, you may be able to designate your payroll-deducted donations to LivingWell Cancer Resource Center. Since LivingWell is a qualified 501(c)(3) organization, all donations are 100% tax deductible. Check with the human resources department at your place of employment to see if your workplace participates in this type of giving.

Maximize your contribution by taking advantage of your employer’s matching gift program. Ask your human resources department for a matching gift form, fill out your portion, and enclose it with your donation.
