Losing someone you love to cancer can be a painful and difficult time.  Bereavement programs at LivingWell Cancer Resource Center, part of Northwestern Medicine, will help you understand the grief process and give you tools and tips on how to cope with your loss.


Good Grief
Thursdays, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
10-week session, March 23 – May 25
10-week session, June 15 – August 17

Good Grief is a 10-week time-limited group providing education and emotional support for participants of LivingWell who recently experienced the loss of a loved one to cancer. Topics include understanding the grief process, coping with holidays and special events, and techniques to help participants grow through the grief process. Share experiences and form connections with other individuals who have experienced the loss of an adult loved one from a cancer diagnosis. This group is open to individuals who are navigating life after their first year of grief.
