Make fitness with your loved one a weekly priority. Come in with your significant other and exercise, then go out for a date of your own choosing. Strengthen your body, strengthen

Mondays, 5 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.

Individuals de-conditioned by cancer treatment and those who have osteoporosis/osteopenia can be prone to falls and fractures. This standing class will emphasize timed strength training intervals of 12 different exercises to help increase bone density. Class will include a walking warm up, individual guided circuit weight training (You make it as challenging as you need) and walking cool down. Please bring clean athletic shoes and comfortable clothes and have current medical release form on file.

Learn yoga postures that will reduce stress, increase flexibility, and support your healing and sleep. Both standing and mat yoga poses will be incorporated.

Many patients find themselves
wondering, “Now what?” after
their cancer treatment ends. This
program will help both patients and
caregivers navigate the challenges
people experience as they transition
into survivorship. Topics covered include: changes
in relationships, managing expectations, addressing
anxiety and depression, the “new normal,” fear of
recurrence, how to partner with your primary care
physician and other providers, managing your health
records, and envisioning a positive future. Attendance
at the entire series is encouraged but not mandatory.

Increase balance, flexibility and strength using a
variety of equipment (Pilates ring, a mat, weighted
balls, bands, hand-held weights). This activity will
provide a full-body workout.
