FACT is an ongoing weekly support group for people
with any type or stage of cancer and is appropriate
for patients who are newly diagnosed, in treatment,
completing treatment or living with cancer as
a chronic illness. Attendance every week is not
required, and participants are encouraged to attend
as they are able. This group meets at the same time
as the weekly group for caregivers.
This support group embraces the importance of those
dedicated to caring for loved ones who are living with
cancer and provides opportunities to network with
other caregivers facing similar struggles.
Starting Thursday, January 3, 4:30–5:30pm
Facilitated by Kelley Navar, LCPC, LivingWell
The Club Courageous program curriculum includes
supportive and fun activities to help
children learn valuable communication
tools and coping skills. The program
helps children process and express the
many emotions that often accompany
a cancer diagnosis, including fear,
sadness and grief. Open to children between the ages
of 10 and 15 who are receiving cancer treatment, are
cancer survivors, have a parent currently in cancer
treatment or have recently experienced the loss of a
family member to cancer.
