Celebrate Our 10-Year Anniversary
A decade ago, local residents came together with a common vision: to create a beautiful and supportive place for cancer patients and their families to live well. They envisioned a place that offered free programs that strengthened, encouraged, empowered, educated and provided hope to people impacted by a cancer diagnosis. A place that was fully funded by the community.
On September 1, 2005, their vision became reality when LivingWell Cancer Resource Center opened its doors. LivingWell is humbled by tremendously positive feedback from its participants and has carefully managed double-digit growth every year. We’re honored to have touched the lives of more than 17,000 cancer patients. This year alone, the Center will be visited more than 20,000 times by program participants.
We are grateful for tremendous generosity from individuals, community foundations, local businesses, local grantors and hospital partnerships. Philanthropic support allows us to ensure that those who are touched by cancer will feel less alone, better informed, and more hopeful and empowered.
We are privileged to work alongside hundreds of medical providers and are grateful for the 19 hospitals and 26 oncology practices that entrust us to care for their patients, cancer survivors and family members.
